I was wondering when my baby will come when I stumbled upon a fun labor prediction quiz at justmommies. Here are my results:
Get your bags packed early just in case you need them. Make sure your partner has a phone available when he’s away because this baby just might come early. We predict your baby will come 2-3 weeks early. Your baby will most likely be born in the morning. Justmommies predicts that your baby will weigh approximately 6.5 pounds (3 kg) and that your labor will be about 12 hours long.
If this is true my baby could come in 2 weeks and a half and while I quite like this prediction I would prefer the following:
Your baby will come on July 23rd. You will hardly feel any contractions or discomfort, the atmosphere will be peaceful, you will labor at night in a bath tub with dimmed lights, soothing music and your loving husband by your side. After a few hours of pure ecstasy you will give birth to a beautiful 6 pound baby girl. Both of you will be released from the hospital the same day.
What do you think? Sounds doable? I’ve read quite a lot of other mama’s birthing testimonials and I spent some time pondering on my dream birth but I do realize that letting go of expectations does help if things don’t go according to plan. It’s like when I go to my mother-in-law’s restaurant without having a particular dish on my mind, I can enjoy quite a variety of things she might prepare, instead of being disappointed because she was out of one particular thing I wanted to eat. Also, I believe that you get the essence of what you think and feel and if I think about childbirth as part of the love-making continuum, I should manifest the essence of it. I’ve written extensively on the power of thought in my book Read Me – I Am Magical: Open Me and I Will Reveal 12 Secrets to Love, Happiness & Personal Power. As You Leaf Through Me See How Remarkable You Feel and now more than ever is the time to make use of all these concepts.
