Crossing the Atlantic Pregnant

This is the 4th time I am crossing the Atlantic in this pregnancy! Twice by plane and twice by ship!!! I must say that cruising is so much better when it comes to the subject of time difference. You set your clock one hour backwards or forwards every day and arrive to your destination happy and refreshed. Flying, on the other hand, forces you to suffer for several days before you adjust to the new timezone!

Also when you fly you need to drink PLENTY of fluids, wear compression stockings, get up every hour and you risk worse morning sickness than usual in your first trimester and preterm labor in the last! Luckily I didn’t have any morning sickness and while I was very liberal about flying in the first two trimesters, I am not planning on any flights in my third!

I’m happy to be on the continent on which I will be giving birth to my baby girl in a few months!
